Hi everyone! I am starting this blog as a place to get some thoughts out there and vent. My hope is that you will enjoy it, learn something from it, or at the very least, get pissed off by it.
Anyway, here's what I'm up to...I'm a fifth years senior at Merrimack College. I was able (through lots of fighting) to walk in last May's graduation with my class so I could "graduate" with my friends and boyfriend, Josh. But now I'm back on campus to finish up my requirements. I'm only taking three classes (rather than four). They are Senior Seminar for my English major, my last education class (who knows what it's called...they are kind of all the same) and intro to French just to keep me as full-time status. Senior Sem is hard but I'll get through it. Juliana, who lives next door and is awesome, is in it with me so we work on stuff together. It's a 3 hour class which sucks but at least it's only once a week. And we have Johnson which is way better than having lots of the other English department teachers. My education class sucks so far. The lady is really gearing it toward teaching younger kids even though everyone in the class is going to be teaching high school...lame. But that class is over in 3 weeks and it switches to my English Methods education course which will hopefully be helpful. French is okay but I have a super annoying girl in my class (who also happens to live in my townhouse). Annoying doesn't even describe her. And my teacher is a super nice lady but doesn't do much in the way of actually teaching us what is in the book.
Come January I will begin student teaching at Andover High School. I've done one observation there already and like it so far. I really need to get going on those observation hours though since I need to do 30 by the end of the semester. Oh well.
Tonight I'm going to Josh's house then going home for the night. I'm spending the day at home tomorrow with my mom before she and my dad go to Florida. Then on Saturday I get to go bridesmaids dress shopping with Colleen and the other girls which should be really fun. Sunday I'm going up north (White Mountains area for those of you who don't know what that means) with Josh.
Until next time!

Pssh, you're awesome.
